KPF – Kart Graphic Protection Film (OTM M9)

Protect Your Graphics. Replace the Film.

KPF (Kart Graphic Protection Film) is a specialist self-adhesive protective layer designed to be applied over kart graphics to help protect them from tyre marks, dirt, scuffs and general wear.

Unlike traditional laminates, KPF is intended to act as a replaceable sacrificial layer, similar to the widely known PPF. When the film becomes worn or damaged through normal use, it can be removed and replaced without affecting the graphics underneath, helping to keep your kart looking its best throughout the season.

Manufactured specifically for karting applications, this kit is precision-cut to fit OTK M9 Nosecone and provides an additional layer of protection in one of the highest-wear areas of the kart.

Application

For best results, KPF should be installed using a wet application method.

  1. Thoroughly clean the application area.

  2. Remove any grease, wax, silicone or residue using isopropyl alcohol (IPA).

  3. Ensure the surface is completely clean and dry.

  4. Apply the film using a suitable application fluid.

  5. Use a squeegee to remove trapped air and moisture.

  6. Allow sufficient curing time before use.

Care & Maintenance

Clean using mild soap and water only. Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents and abrasive cleaning products. Inspect the film regularly and replace as required to maintain optimum protection and appearance.

Important Information

KPF is manufactured using ONE Custom Motorsport Design templates and is optimised for use with our graphics kits. While the film may be applied over graphics from other suppliers, minor variations in dimensions or joining lines may occur and do not affect product performance.

How to apply KPF

For the best results, KPF should be applied using the wet application method.

Thoroughly clean the existing graphics to remove all dirt and debris.

Degrease the surface using isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or another suitable degreaser to remove wax, silicone, polish and other contaminants.

Ensure the surface is completely clean and dry before application.

Lightly spray the surface and the adhesive side of the KPF with clean water.

Position the KPF onto the graphics.

Using a squeegee, work from the centre outwards to remove all trapped water and air.

Use a heat gun to gently seal all edges for maximum adhesion.

Allow sufficient curing time before use.
